An Arizona Sky!
This is a photo taken recently in Arizona. The bright yellows glowing through the clouds juxtaposed to the grays and whites are awe inspiring. The bright blue sky that fills in the background makes the image complete. I know this combination of colors would be incredible to experiment with in a future painting. I love taking the reality I see and transforming it into an abstract painting. I hope you enjoy viewing my art as much as I enjoy painting it.
Special Occasion Inspiration!
I recently traveled to Atlanta,Ga to visit my son. The window at Bridals by Lori caught my eye with this gown on display. the bright purple fabric with folds showing darker shades would look perfect in one of my abstract paintings. Unfortunately due to the clouds I was unable to capture the image in the window. The wonderful employees inside the bridal shop removed the gown from the window, so I was able to use my iPhone to capture this image. If you are in need of a special occasion gown, I highly recommend a visit to Bridals by Lori in Atlanta, GA.
This is just one of the many photos from Atlanta that will be influencing future paintings.
Stay tuned!
